Carlos was born in Caracas, Venezuela and is currently based in Los Angeles, California.

He picked up his first camera at 13, developing black and white film. In College he dove in portrait and documentary photography before starting to work on short films. 

​

Graduating as a Media Arts Journalist, he then got his start in Grip and Lighting rental houses in Caracas. 

​

Moving to LA in 2015, he studied cinematography at the New York Film Academy in Burbank. 

​

Since then, he's collaborated with various clients and filmmakers in feature films, music videos, commercials and various types of visual content.

​

He's also a proficient camera operator, high-speed camera specialist and motion control camera robot operator.
